‘Age Appropriate’ Sex Ed In Kindergarten

That’s what is being proposed in Chicago.

The “age appropriate” program would also include discussion on sexual orientation and gender identity, the school system’s chief health officer told the Chicago Tribune.

The youngest kids — most children are 5 in kindergarten — would learn about “my body,” “good touch vs. bad touch” and “living things that reproduce,” Stephanie Whyte said.

By second grade, students would learn about growth and development, and in fourth grade, the different aspects of puberty and the transmission of HIV.
