The Philadelphia Daily News goes there.

The cover shows a picture of Trump speaking with his hand in the air, the gesture looking similar to the Nazi salute, with the headline “The New Furor.” Furor and Führer — the infamous German word for leader — are homophones.

    nailed it.

      tippity tappity tap

  • Mensa Member

Trump reminds me more of Mussolini but this is clear: Trump is clearly unAmerican and profoundly unChristian.

How anyone can give him a standing ovation while considering themselves either Christian or American is dumbfounding..

    • whatthe46

because he speaks their language. the language of hate. and their hate is being validated and accepted by someone running for the President, they finally found someone that share their views aloud.

    • Mark Johnson

Sonny B does. But that went bad.

  • rg9rts

And the SA, american style, love him

    • Mensa Member

      Who are the SA?

      Statisticians of America?

      • mea_mark
      • rg9rts

Google it…that was the name for the brown shirts of the third reich

        The original Storm Troopers

        Sturmabteilung = Storm Detachment

      • and the idea that a “mensa member” does not know who the SA were (I know, it was all of 70 to 80 YEARs ago!) is all the more disturbing to me. “Those who do not remember the past…”

      • anothertoothpick

They used to do things like this

      • StoneyCurtisll

        Google Ernst Röhm

      • Wendy Sibley

Kinda common knowledge. They’re even mentioned in the Horst Wessel song.

  • NW10,PATRIOT! ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ
    • fahvel

I think, when he rules the world, his moustache will be fluffy and blonde and stick in his throat and he might possibly choke – no one should give him the himmler manoevre.

      • Wendy Sibley

The Heimlich manoeuvre saves lives. The Himmler manoeuvre consists in deporting large numbers of people and concentrating them into extermination camps.

  • jybarz

Always same stuff comes out of Trumpet’s mouth and his a$$.

  • Jacques Lefevre

Trump is dangerously bad for America. But 6 millions Jews are disrespected when he is compared to Hitler. The Mussolini comparison, mentioned earlier, is much more accurate.

    • tracey marie

The comparision is because of drumpf’s desire to make all muslims carry special ID’s and wear a badge, the hitler (godwin law) comparision fits.

      • whatthe46

and lets not forget he’s of german decent.

        • Gina Bousquet

And the father seems to have been such a racist!

          • whatthe46

that’s where tRump got it from.

            • Gina Bousquet

              Drank it from the bottle…

    • Um Cara

Comparisons to Hitler are almost always inappropriate, but not in this case.

      • Gina Bousquet

Hey, you were missed! Howdy? We can speak Portuguese. :)

    • fahvel

    • Gina Bousquet

I get your point, Mussolini was more of a buffoon, a fascist buffoon.

I am not familiar with the Daily News in the 21st century – my memory from long ago is that it was a rag journal compared to other NYC journals. But I am amused and upset by their approach to rump – 1. they are right. 2. they may be too right.

  • granpa.usthai

this is the REAL USA CHANT by a REAL AMERICAN
unlike those who are too ashamed (or scared) to wear a cheap Chinese made US FLAG lapel pin when in Dubai!

Any rag liberal papers complain when JIMMY CARTER deported iranians, stopped immigration and invalidated visas? You are all a bunch of slag as* losers. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2015/12/flashback-jimmy-carter-banned-iranians-from-us-deported-iranian-students-during-hostage-crisis/

I know huh? Right wing “media”. Here’s one from the fair and balanced people from just the other day. They posted a story about the air force running out of bombs and then posted a picture of an ancient Navy P-3 anti submarine/maritime patrol aircraft which seldom if ever operates over land

    • Suzanne McFly

You’re correct William. That is the plane from my squadron (VP-49) and they hunt submarines. They have sonobuoys that are dropped into the water and pings are heard coming off subs.

      • William

Wow small world. I am retired USN. I was a P-3 flight engineer (8251). VP-10, VP-23 and VP-26. Brunswick Maine. I initially thought the Orion in the photo was a “Q” bird because of the pod on the belly.
Even after all these years, I still miss it. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/d52e0d3990c20628a12acac7cc30cd629711cf7c069ec19937e7bbb910e8861b.jpg

        • Suzanne McFly

I was an MS so my work had nothing to do with the plane but I flew on them and went on multiple deployments. I was at NASJAX, I miss the comradery. I still have friends I talk to from that time, I think I will have them in my life forever.

          • William

I went through flight training with VP-30 in Jax. You had more to do with what went on in that plane than you will ever know. I have operated with no less than three other nations, Canada included that furnished me with a completely separate flight ration from the rest of the cockpit crew. IE they didn’t have as much faith in the safety of their food and adopted that policy in the event of food poisoning. Remember the term PLE? Prudent level of endurance? That’s when the relief aircraft isn’t coming and you stay until your fuel supply says otherwise. That three hour preflight, 11 hour flight and one hour post flight/debrief. It’s 3 a.m. and someone knew it and fed us.
P-3’s operated in all sorts of horrific conditions. I’m sure you’ve been to Kef. Taking off in a P-3 in a blinding snowstorm is essentially trying to turn 135000 pounds of fuel and aluminum into a sleek Navy bomber in less than 8000 feet.
The most important person involved in that evolution is whomever made the coffee.
There were no unimportant jobs in the VP-Navy
            I thank you.

            • Suzanne McFly

Kef was my favorite place, it is beautiful. We destroyed Rota, they actually had a bar called Guns and Roses lol. Thank you for the acknowledgment to the importance as an MS :) Thank you for your time served as well shipmate.
