Time to clear the decks! Enjoy!
Alan Colmes is the publisher of Liberaland.
Still missing alan. com so badly… I meet the regulars from our small community at other sites, but it’s not the same. The feeling of warmth, of being home, the fun, the friendly exchanges were so much part of this place here. Thank you Alan, we won’t forget. :)
I agree. FON is ok but this site was the best by far. I miss Alan so much that it makes me depressed when I think about it…
Hi crc3! I’m slowly getting used to the loss of this lovely home on the net. I comment a lot on raw story, but I know few of them… I meet our posters from here at FON, and I like it there, but no place is like alan. com. So very nice to see you again! :)
You too!! I just visited RS and it’s pretty good but still not alan.com. Huff Post stinks. Use to comment there until they went totally Facebook which I don’t do. I’ll try to post more here and at RS. Talk to you soon!! :-)
Oh, then you were part of Huffpost refugees, me too. Had many friends there and loved the place. Also had to leave when they turned to Facebook, I refuse to have a FB account. Alan’s place was the first site where I felt that at ease after Huffpost. See you soon, I hope. :)
I don’t even like the new format at HP with all the spam. Free Speech TV is great! I especially like Thom Hartmann and Stephanie Miller. Try it out!!
Hp’s new format is almost as big an error as the Facebook stuff, they never stop digging the hole!! lol
Thank you so much for the Free Speech TV tip, already watching it!
I’m glad your disqus page is not private, I followed you so it’s easier to chat. See you soon, dear. :)
Thanks, I never heard of them. I’ll try it out.
If I didn’t have family all over the country I wouldn’t have FB either. I do what I can to limit the personal info that is there, but they still know far too much about everyone. And with the republicans killing net neutrality, they can sell that info to anyone they want to.
I can’t see fun in that frenzy of exposure. It’s like having a teenage diary that everybody reads, looks frivolous. I believe it really helps to keep in contact with family and friends in certain cases. I use WhatsApp for that. But everyone in the family has Facebook too. Net neutrality is so precious, wish they wouldn’t kill it.
Great article mgmdomino
