My question was (and it was in there): where has freedom been compromised? You said it in your previous post (”I have no tolerance for your hatred for freedom right now”). What did I say in my comment about Google that leads you to believe I hate freedom? Please be specific, and assumptions about what you may think I believe don’t count.
And while we’re on that topic, what have I said that indicates I “listen[ing] to the crud if it effects you so much that you buy everything they say.”

It’s richly ironic that you babble about truth, Eric, because it seems you can’t handle it. You’re frustrated that someone actually dug it up on Van Jones. No one put words in his mouth. They merely played what he said. Over and over and over again.

If people really didn’t care that Van Jones’ actions and comments were frightening for someone working in a czar position, he’d still be working.
He’s out of work because Obama knows that what he said and did are incongruous with most Americans’ values. Probably Obama’s too.
The greatest thing that Obama can do right now is remember why he was elected: because he was not George Bush. Not because Americans wanted a progressive revolution. But because they were tired of staring at an arrogant Republican who struggled to string a couple sentences together.
So for the people shocked that Van Jones is no longer employed tonight, I can only shake my head and wonder, what exactly did you think Obama’s election victory meant?
Do you think for a second that if Obama felt Van Jones was worthy of a defense– that he was even remotely salvagable– he wouldn’t do it? Your savior– Obama– threw him under the bus because he knew most Americans shared zero in terms of philsophy with Van Jones.
Uh, yeah, I know Czars aren’t new. 30 of them is a new concept though. While that number might be subject to debate, even Reuters says there are at least 21. 8 months in to his administration. See a trend?

Please tell me what freedoms have been abridged by the publicizing of Van Jones’ past statements. It’s actually a celebration of freedom– freedom of the press. And then, of course, freedom to resign when your ass is exposed.
Even you know there’s a reason Obama is appointing Czars at breakneck speed– he and Rahm know that they would never stand up under Congressional scrutiny– Republican or Democrat.
