Healthcare needs to be directed in two obvious directions: (1)those who have none and cannot afford and (2)those with pre-existing conditons that cause catrostophic monetary problems for expenses. These two need government healthcare. Perhaps another full-fledged terrorist attack on the USA would confirm why defense, military, expenditures are crucial. This healthcare situation is more of an overt attempt by The White House to have control and power over its citizens. Unfortunately, as usual, the price tags lies, as always, on taxpayers, quickly becoming tired of covering for all the government’s gimmicks. This healthcare bill is “swamped” with earmarks and expenditures not directly health care. Several government departments need internal reorganization to eliminate waste, but nothing is ever done except pass new bills for more money. Take IRS and Social Security. Both are huge economic “messes” that no one audits and reorganizes to be economically efficient and far less wasteful. After all, this is our taxpaying dollars at work. Ironic.

B.O. has been “in our face” the minute Illinois citizens elected him to the US Senate years back. From that point forward, B.O. spent more time campaigning for the presidency…and B.O. is still constantly “in our face” with all his speeches and media coverage. Does B.O. ever spend time in The Chicago House, eeeeer, I mean The White House? Does Air Force One ever get “down time”?
Did you see the news story on the University of Chicago hospital where MO (Michelle Obama) was hospital administrator and implemented actions through the aid of another B.O. coheart and of Axelrod’s media blitz to have patients who came to ER there sent to other facilities, legally. Facilities, as many interviewed, which were of much less quality. Obviously, the premise for MO and U of Chicago was to leave the hospital for moneyed elitists and heavy donators rather than the poor, poverty-sticken, and homeless. News story also mentioned that after B.O. was elected Illinois’ state senator, MO received a lucrative salary increase at U. of Chicago. Anyone see this one?
Obviously, you have not seen Rush lately. He’s no longer a fat white angry male. He’s lost much weight, though still Caucasian male, angry at current politics and government takeover of US, economy, and citizens. For the latter three points, many of us are angered as well.
Thanks for filling in some of the background on B.O.’s biological parents. I read he saw his father only once as a youngster. What did his mother do with her PHD in Anthropology? Why was B.O. sent to live with white grandparents in Hawaii? And I’m also wondering why his grandparents moved from the Midwest, Kansas, to Hawaii, a drastic change in lifestyle at their respective ages. Why didn’t B.O. see his mother before she died? Did he attend her funeral? Why has he invoked privacy on his college/university records while other presidents and nominees have opened their own? Personally, his college years would reflect much of his background, influences, and thoughts, particularly his thesis and papers required for degrees. If B.O.’s birth certificate causes so much consternation, why doesn’t he simply “offer up” the real one? Why, why, why, such questions for a man who is President of the United States who advocated “transparency” in his millions of dollars sponsored media supported campaigning?
Actually, you’d be shocked at the number of citizens that would find this solution an option today. B.O.’s apologies to other countries for American behaviors and policies make one wonder where his allegiance lies. Who’s running The White House as B.O. travels on Air Force One to other states, town meetings, and countries? Does he have a problem being a residential president?
Murkowski has a reason to be upset. Her congressional position will be at stake.
No one attacks Chelsea in the media. Not even when she campaigned for Hillary and was in the public spotlight. Gee, wonder why?
Who will the media and Palin enemies attack now that she and family are not in Alaska’s capital? Would Clinton and Hillary endured the “slings of outrageous coverage” of their “family”?
This isn’t a matter of being Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, Independent, GDI. Yellow journalism at its worst.
Should anyone’s family in the media spotlight be attacked so viciously? No. Never.

The White House pushes too many bills through Congress in too short of a time. Healthcare is important and needs input from all areas of health and medical fields, not just Congress and The White House. Too many appointees under the President to control all the measures, bills, stimulus, etc. taken in only, what, 5 gong on 6 months. What does the Cabinet members do these days with the added people who report directly to The White House, bypassing Congress? How much more money do we pay for these people? I get the feeling D.C. operates in another world than USA citizens/taxpayers. Too much control over citizen’s lives too quickly.
