Oh yeah that’s right. I forgot that time the democrats had to break a filibuster to pass Obama’s agenda.
See, this type of juvenile partisanship is exactly what’s turning us into slaves. Ok, so it’s not technically filibuster proof. Does that take away from my point that democrats have overwhelming control of congress and it’s a copout to blame their lack of cooperation for Obama’s broken promises?
No, it doesn’t take away from my point at all. In fact it only proves my point that at any given time half the country is willing to embrace slavery as long as their party is the master.
Carbon dioxide is what mammals exhale. He’s fighting to tax that. You people are cheering slavery because you think it makes you seem open-minded. History will deem you quite closed-minded and possibly even stupid.
Nothing the government does is “more affordable” than the free market. There is no possible way the government can make health care more affordable. He wants to control the health care industry and you people are cheering for it. You’re blindly supporting your own slavery because you’ve been conditioned to think republicans are evil by government schools.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. I’d add that ignorance also plays a large role.
How cute. He has a filibuster proof democrat congress and he’s the de facto leader of the democrat party. It’s pretty weak for him or you to blame things on congress. And if you can’t understand why please don’t tell me you vote.
First of all, you’re assuming that. Second of all, that doesn’t mean they still won’t get much harsher treatment in their home countries. I thought we were supposed to be about human rights, not sweeping people under the carpet through rendition.
Please let us in on these vast differences and how the direction is different. He’s shipped a few of them over to countries that engage in actual torture like Saudi Arabia and Chad. I suppose that’s a change.
So Obama can’t figure it out either. Funny, he seemed to have all the answers when he was a junior state senator and had no accountability for his diarrhea of the mouth.
There is no winning of elections in an authoritarian system that feeds on the stupidity of emotional issues.
Conservatives and liberals have been played like violins based on emotion rather than logic, and both parties are working together to implement tyranny.
Just listen to Alan. All he can think of is what people with an “R” next to their name are doing. He’s making pretty good money doing that also. It pays to support the divide and conquer autocracy. And some people are stupid enough to think they’re smart by supporting their own slavery.
Gays are free to get married all they’d like. If the only way you feel that your marriage is legitimate is if the government recognizes it then you have a slavery problem more than a sexuality issue.
I’d like to see the government get out of all marriage altogether. But I’m into freedom so I’m funny that way. Some people love government and their only qualm is how it’s used to coerce.
Advocating big government in the cause of freedom and equality is like making love in the cause of virginity.
