If every person was given a million dollars of bail out money oh excuse me
(economic stimulus) what would the effects be?
Lets look at the numbers
According to the US. Census bureau on Nov. 18, 2008
There are
U.S. 305,686,501 US citizens
Nationally, 217.8 million people age 18 and over;
35.9 million people age 65 and over;
53.3 million children ages 5 to 17 as of July 1, 2003, U.S. Census Bureau.
Imagine if everyone was given 1 million dollars each that would only be
305,686,501 million dollars only a little more than 1/3 of a billion dollars. Just a fraction of what they are giving to corrupt companies!!!
If we took 1 billion dollars from the Auto bailout funds toward this relief project to the American people we could send everyone their million dollars and the other half of the billion could be used in mailing and the funds to the people.
