TDro needs to really think long and hard on some of the things he says. I respect his pacifism but at some point one has to realize that one might just have to defend oneself with deadly force if need be.

I do agree that we should secure our border and secure it tightly so that not even one little fire ant can cross into America without being seen.
Don’t ban assault weapons because that will not stop them from being smuggled into Mexico. They will merely continue to go underground to get them.
Haven’t come to a final conclusion on the legalization of pot yet Steve. Probably not that bad an idea though.
It seems to me that Mexico wants the US to do all the bending and spending to create better relations with them. It doesn’t work that way. It is a two way street.
First, Mexico must show a good faith effort to stop these drug lords from smuggling drugs into the US. Second, the US must place National Guardsmen along the border with the right to engage any hostilities with lethal force if need be. That will dramatically slow the flow of drugs into our country. If the drug lords want a war with our military then they shall have it, but we will need the help of the Mexican police and military. Which seems uncertain right now. To many dirty cops on their side.
Any how Steve, that is my take. So we somewhat agree and somewhat disagree.

Maybe I’ll make that my retirement home. Yep, I’ll move to Texas where they don’t take any guff from anyone. And the respect your rights as a gunowner, and your rights to self defense.
