October 10th, 2009 at 5:56 pmThe biggest thing he did to deserve this award was defeat the republicans, because he brought the people together to rid ourselves from the republican obsession with war and exceptionalism. Exceptionism is bigotry, it’s arrogance,and it’s hubris. Bush and his big experiment with Iraq was all this and so much more.
By defeating the republicans without demonizing his opponent he showed you don’t have to win elections with lies and distortions.
Don what do you mean what did he do in those 11 days that deserved this…prize? If you think they only look at when he was president your just plain stupid. This guy graduated from one of the prestigous law schools ever and could of hooked up with some big time law firm but he went to chicago to help bring people together so they can help themselves.
Unlike the previous president who sure seemed determined to label and divide not only the american people, but also the nations of the world, by forcing countries to take sides, and making false accusations to rally for war.
The answer to the last question is he sure should be after the terrible mistakes and blunders of Bush and Co. made causing untold people to die a violent death… needlessly
