I have lived in Japan for 30 years and it amuses me to read all the expert advice from Americans who have briefly visited Japan and think they are knowledgeable of the traditions.
Please list all the freedoms you have lost in the last 8 months and those that you expect to lose in the next 3 years. I’d really like to know. Didn’t lose the right to yell loudly and carry loaded weapons at town hall meetings, or the right to demonstrate on the mall in D.C.(teabagathon), or the right to voice your opinions on the internet
The right wingers including the republican congress shout and wring their hands about how Obama is destroying the country and taking away their freedoms. What I don’t hear from the right is what are their alternatives. Just saying no without offering any solutions to the problems does not help,nor, does presenting a stimulus plan with graphs with no numbers. Where is the right wing health insurance reform plan?
Why does SC have so many insanely stupid politicians? Gov., LtGov., Rep., Senators – all the crazies in one state may be a good idea. Send Perry, Palin an Pawlenty to SC and then we can build a wall around the state.

I don’t understand why people are so shocked that the republican party is speading fear. That has been their mantra for several decades. I would bet that Dick and Liz are about to implode after hearing what the General Jones had to say. It makes it easy for me to go to sleep each night knowing the Dick and Liz are on the wall watching and waiting to slay the evil ones should they dare to enter republican territory. Also sleep better knowing that President Cheney and his assistant George are no longer in the White House.
